What’s the difference between the Summit and the Annual Convention?
The CCA Summit takes place in Washington, DC late winter/early spring each year. It brings together carrier leaders, policymakers, regulators, and technology executives for a focused discussion on issues shaping the future of connectivity. It is a full-day program with guest speakers, sessions, and networking. The following day is CCA’s Capitol Hill Day, which is for CCA members only.
Annual Convention is CCA’s larger industry event held in a destination city each fall. The Convention features an exhibit hall, keynote speakers, educational tracks, and networking events, including an opening reception/dinner. CCA members also receive exclusive access to member-only, small-group meetings focused on marketing, technical, and financial discussions.
Are these events only for CCA members?
No. Both the Summit and the Annual Convention are open to members and non-members. Membership has its benefits! CCA members receive significant discounts on registration for both shows. At the Annual Convention, members get access to member-only meetings, and exhibitors get substantial discounts on booths. My role isn’t focused on policy. Why should I attend the Summit?

Do the Summit and the Annual Convention attract the same audience?
There is some overlap, but each event offers a distinct experience. Both bring together an engaged community from across the communications industry, including network operators and communications service providers—such as wireless carriers, satellite providers, and ISPs—as well as technology vendors, infrastructure providers, consultants, and other industry experts.

Attendees will hear discussions on key legislative and regulatory priorities, alongside technical and business perspectives examining how those decisions affect network deployment, investment, operations and innovation.. As an advocacy-focused organization, CCA expects strong participation from its carrier members, creating valuable opportunities to connect with both industry leaders and policymakers.
The CCA Annual Convention brings together an even broader cross-section of the industry, with an emphasis on education, networking, collaboration, and business development. Attendees have ample opportunities to build relationships and hold business meetings, while the exhibit hall provides a central gathering place to connect with colleagues and explore the latest technologies, products, and solutions.
How is the Summit different from Capitol Hill Day?
The CCA Summit is an industry event open to members and non-members, featuring speakers, discussions and networking. Capitol Hill Day is a separate, members-only advocacy opportunity the following day, when CCA members engage directly with policymakers on issues important to competitive carriers.
